like the traditional banner cards better!

I've used the ivory banner cards for years--and have given multiple sets of them as professional gifts, for graduation, weddings, etc--and have always loved them. A few months ago, these eco friendly cards caught my eye and I thought on line they looked great--and of course I appreciated the fact that they were "green". Well--that's all great except for the fact that in person (at least to me) they look too recycled if you will, sort of like a grocery sack--and as such--too informal, too casual and just flat out not nice enough for my general purposes. I'm extra disappointed because I ordered a double set--anticipating I'd love them. If you're considering these cards, I wouldn't say don't buy them, but you may want to see if you can get a sample before you spend your money on something you may or may not like so much. But having said all that--I love Gifts in 24--and think they do a great job overall. Just not crazy about this particular card!

I, too, have to disagree with the reviewer who said these are too casual and too informal. I ordered them and am very happy with the quality of the paper and the overall look of the stationary. I think they are very nice and will probably order more when I run out.

I disagree with the first review. I was very pleased with my order. As long as you keep in mind that what you're getting is recycled and meant to look recycled, they are great. Of course it's not going to look like the other paper they use, because it's not. But it's a good product. And as always, they're embossing is the best you can find anywhere.

I've purchased the ivory banner cards in the past for my boss (at his request), and this time, I chose these. Not only are they eco friendly, but they looked more masculine and more like something my boss would send.

I love the cards. It is so difficult to find personalized stationary for a man. These cards are nice and thick, the raised named looks really professional. My husband loved the cards.

The design is so simple, yet the effect is so profound ... and now available on the 100% recycled. 100% recycled is the only TRUE recycled paper, by the way ...

I say yes, I agree with all the reviews I've read here that 100% recycled is the real thing. If you see only the word,
"recycled", you're probably looking at paper with 10% recycled fiber in it, and the rest is wood fiber, so 90% of the paper is not recycled !

100 % recycled is the only true recycled paper -- all the other recycled items that I see at other websites that are being advertised as just "recycled" can contain very little recycled paper because the standards are so low. Like one of the other reviews says: the only time that reycled paper must have at least 30% post-consumer fibers in it, is when the seller is bidding on a government contract or government purchase. So, Giftsin24 should be praised for going the full route and offering the 100% recycled.

What a sincere gesture on the part of Giftsin24 -- to offer the 100% recycled paper for both the cards and the envelopes and to help with the movement toward sustainability and a more pure environment.

I praise Giftsin24 for paying the extra money for the 100% recycled paper. 100% recycled paper is MUCH more expensive than the usual 30% recycled that most companies offer. Beware -- personalized stationery and other priting papers or containers can have even less content than 30% and still be described as "recycled." Having more than 30% post-consumer-waste is only required for government contracts, it is not a rule that applies to general consumer items. Some companies have only a few percentage points of post-consumer-wate in their paper and insist on describing it as "recycled" which is deceitful in spirit, if not by law.

Thank you, Giftsin24, for paying the extra attention to the papers, and paying he extra money, too, to get the 100% recycled paper. I'm a believer in the green movement and support websites that provide the green options for their customers.

If personalized cards are going to be advertised as recycled, then the paper should be 100% recycled, as these Banner Cards are advertised here. Congratulations to Giftsin24 for doing things right (and honestly).

I have not bought these personalized cards, but I want to praise Giftsin24 for being correct in selling 100% recycled paper for this item. Many personalized stationery companies advertise "recycled" paper but that doesn't mean too much. Only 100% recycled is really recycled paper. A lot of "recycled" paper is less than 50% recycled.
