Stationery in the Month of February

Correspondence in the workplace

Inspires

Reread your favorite book, memorize a scene from a memorable film or learn the lyrics to a catchy song, we are all compelled in some way to take action.  This indiscernible force, a fire which burns endlessly inside each of us, is a poetic representation of something greater.  We, the working drones in this industry, call this flame the spirit.  It is this that motivates us to create stationery intended to thank, revere, congratulate, and celebrate the people in your life.  What inspires you?

Personalized Stationery can indeed be just as memorable and significant as any piece of pop culture, any custom message or personal script where you want to say something more. It can be like that one song or set of lyrics that just keeps ringing in your ear and won’t stop. You know like, “I just called to say I love you.” Whether you select Bordered, Colonial, Glory, Classic Monogram Bordered, Manhattan or Soutampton Cards it will be like you commissioned your own original score to the event, the message, the connecting point that will leave the receiver with the yet unwritten obligation of returning that much more.

I just realized that this website had a blog. It’s very refreshing to see that this company takes to posting relevant and useful content. I like the way everything is broken down so that it’s easier to read. I am an avid blog reader and I have yet to see another blog like this.

to reiterate on my previous comment – To see another blog about stationery quite like this is hard to come by. Keep up the good work.

Eileen, I’ve gone looking and you’re right, there really aren’t any other blogs like this one! Nowhere else do you get this kind of relevant information about what’s going on in the world of personalized stationery!

Even though I could never travel to one of these international shows, it’s cool to know when and where they are. It really gives you a nice sense of the scope of the personalized stationery world, and I really think that if I want to I can track down some information about these events online and see what’s going on there.

Great blog to start off the month of February! It’s nice to have some reading recommendations for those who want to study the subject with a little more depth than the blog can get into, especially since it’s not a daily blog anymore. And also it’s good to have some information about personalized stationery shows around the world, even if I’m not likely to attend most of the shows and conventions. It’s still quite illuminating to know that this many events go on around the world.

Thanks for the book recommendations! My library has all but the first one in their catalog, so I will see about checking some of them out. It looks like some will have to come from other libraries but that’s still pretty cool.

I wish I could go to one of those international shows about personalized stationery, but I just can’t do that kind of travel right now. :-( But that’s okay, I can still get lots of cool stationery products and follow the stationery trends online!

I have to say, the Hong Kong International Stationery Fair sounds really cool! I wish I could go! But then China seems like such an interesting place anyway, and I’d like to see Hong Kong in particular someday.

Also, are you going to recommend books relevant to the world of personalized stationery every month? A few of us might really benefit from that! I would definitely at least give some of these books a look, whether I was able to read them in-depth or not.
