Our Rite of Passage

Their first personalized stationery is a big step. In the name of everything that is pop culture, your child has no chance escaping the meaningless humdrum of it all. He or she will endeavor to watch all the senseless shows on cable television and play the most violent video games. Yes, there are ratings to follow and rules parents establish in order to keep their children safe from all that mindless exposure. Unfortunately parents can’t always be watchful and sooner or later they must trust their children to be responsible and independent citizens…who also happen to be huge fans of the Walking Dead.
One day there will be a sign that will signify that your child has finally matured. You must pay close attention. It is a scene that will make you proud and leave you speechless. If you breathe and eat stationery as much as we do you will quickly understand the following situation. Call it wishful thinking. Call it something straight out of the Twilight Zone. When your child prefers the pleasure of writing on their very own personalized notepad, tablet, card or note than seeking the comfort of their smart phone – open a bottle of champagne, throw confetti in the air and blow up some balloons. It’s time to party. This is our rite of passage. What is yours?

I think people who enjoy writing on their personalized stationery more than watching TV are pretty rare, even among stationery fans like ourselves. Of course, it’s not like it has to be an either/or choice.
I like to have a personalized notepad with me sometimes when I watch movies or TV shows. Sometimes I will get the urge to look something up online later, and I will write it down on my notepad. Or maybe there’s a quote I want to remember or a joke told by one of the characters or something. Either way, it’s good to have personalized stationery of one kind or another around for whenever you want some.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Can we trust a child’s eye, a child’s judgment in that regard. Streets and houses are festooned with colored lights, glossy red, green, silver and gold garland. Many landscapes are dotted with reindeer, Santa Claus, Christmas trees, elves, mangers and whatever else is significant for the holidays. Television programming reflects the same idea but many parents are now reluctant to sit their children down to censored episodes of Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer, Frosty The Snowman and even the Grinch that stole Christmas. It’s not the content but how its used to introduce them to new things and how that association plays a role in development of new ideas. It’s nice when they have their own Billboard Desk Slabs, Organize By Day Slabs, Classroom Tablets, Star Tablets or any other Children’s Stationery. The gift of writing and reading is only as valuable as the frequency that children use it. Every time they learn something new or try a new expression they create a new association. Personalized Stationery helps them expand their horizons and subsequently their lives.
We offer 59 Personalized Stationery items for children, lovingly referred to as Personalized Stationery Gifts For Children. I think giving children their first personalized stationery at a young age is a great idea. It’s good to foster that love of writing while they’re young, and encourage a love of writing that can last a lifetime. And if it reduces their dependence on the convenience of technology, then so much the better!
