Gifts for Him: Dad

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players…

My buddy Shakespeare knew his stuff, didn’t he? Men can take on the most interesting roles. Throughout history there have been all sorts of characters. We have tyrants, lovers and heroes all playing their part. If there is one thing we can learn from these great and terrible men is that the world isn’t perfect. We all do our best with what we are given and sometimes that’s enough to receive a standing ovation.

This post pays tribute to all the men we know and love. The Dirty Harry’s of the world, who do not take guff from anyone only to protect your honor. The sensitive Neanderthal, who may watch football all weekend long, but finds the time to give you useful advice during a commercial break. What about the astute genius type? He is solving the world’s problems, but he is never too busy to hear your riveting banter. They are all appreciated. I admit I may be exaggerating a bit here. Men come in many variations. If the world isn’t perfect, then you guessed it, men aren’t either.

Shopping for dad isn’t easy. He will cherish anything you give him of course. His closet is full with all the things you have given him over the years. The glow in the dark tie you gave him for father’s day. The tool set you gave him for his birthday, which happens to go well with his other tool set you gave him for Christmas. And even that colorful portrait you gave him when you were six, yup, he still has that hanging in his man cave.

Our gifts for him collection is geared to provide you with an easy choice. Dad may be a guy, but he’s also classy dude. Honor your father with his own personalized stationery. He is the bread winner, the protector and the man of the house, that is, when your mom doesn’t have him running errands.

Shopping for dad is hard. He seems to have most of the things he wants, and I give him personalized stationery almost faster than he can use it! For various birthdays, holidays, and Father’s Day, I’ve given him personalized cards, personalized notepads, and stationery gift sets. He always enjoys them, but I do think he could probably use something new next time his birthday comes around. I will have to browse the site and see what other awesome stationery products are out there that he could use.

I’m a daddy’s girl…so shopping for dad can be tough. I have given him the tie and shirt gift before – it was the easy way out – I confess. If we take into consideration the things we know about a person – their likes and dislikes – it shouldn’t be a problem shopping for someone. Honoring dad should be an all year thing. He likes to write, so personalized cards and notes is the best option for him.

Buying gifts for dad can be hard, even for daddy’s girls like Cierra and myself. My dad is the type who never asks for much for himself; he always says that all he wants is for his family and friends to be there with him. Still, we like to give him things too. I always write him a nice note in a personalized card, but I like to give him other things too. I’ve given him shirts, ties, wallets, and so on, and he appreciates them and will usually use them. But I’m on the lookout for something that will really grab his attention. Maybe a stationery gift set would be just the thing?

I like to give my dad a personalized tablet every once in awhile. Not only does it feel good to give dad gifts now and then to let him know that he’s appreciated, but they’re practical and useful as well. I know he appreciates that and so do I. I do the same for some of my other family members as well, giving out various personalized stationery gifts here and there, and not a single one of them has ever been less than delighted. That’s how awesome GiftsIn24 is!

Last year for Christmas I gave my father some personalized stationery, and he was pretty happy with it. For Father’s Day I gave him a stationery gift set, and again it was a big hit. I’m thinking though, that I should probably mix it up and do something different next time. Maybe I will get him some eco-friendly stationery this time since he’s very pro-green.
