Finding a Great New Restaurant
We have lived in our home for over three years. We usually cook at home or grill out, but, sometimes we like to get out to a restaurant and have a nice date night. There are a few fun chain restaurants near our home we usually default to when going out to eat, we know we like the food and it’s an affordable price. But after a few years of going to the same places we decided to try something new. Crazy, I know! lol.
So we headed north instead of south and discovered that just a few towns over is a great town with some amazing places to have dinner, walk around, do some outdoor shopping and of course have a little ice cream.
We chose this restaurant in downtown Wheaton called Ivy. The place is beautiful with indoor/outdoor seating. The food was amazing. Even the beverage napkins were personalized. The drink napkins had a modern monogram and beautiful foil stamp. The Personalized napkins just made it feel so much fancier.

Downtown Wheaton is actually a pretty decent area. It is filled with small shops and has a very urban setting. During the summer time, it is heavily populated.

Their is a pizza place by Downtown Wheaton. I threw a party in one of the min restaurants with couple of my friends and had my own set of personalized napkins. I went with the Guest Towel Napkins and everyone loved it.

I like to try a wide variety of different restaurants. Unfortunately it shows, but at least I’ve developed a pretty good idea of places that are good to eat.
If you like steak, you should try a Brazilian steakhouse (called a churrascaria) sometime. I’ve never been to Fogo de Chao in the city, but I’ve heard great things about it. A little more affordable is Texas de Brazil, which has locations downtown, at Woodfield Mall, and other places around the country. They have an amazing salad bar, great service, and some of the most amazing steak I’ve ever had. It’s a bit pricey, but if you go for lunch instead of dinner you get most of the same cuts of meat and the price is much more affordable.
Anyway, wherever you look there are great restaurants all around, even though many restaurants have closed down in the last few years. So next time you want to have a party for some occasion, why not send out personalized invitations to meet at a restaurant in your area, one which you’ve never been to before?
