Picking Out Personalized Cards
If you want to make an impression upon those who receive your cards in the mail, the right personalized cards can make yours stand out above the rest.
Because they are, by definition, a personalized statement about yourself, they are sure to make a memorable impression upon those who receive them. They’re also excellent since sending cards that are personalized is an excellent idea for a wide variety of occasions.
When you start to think about what type of personalized cards you would like to purchase, it’s important to consider what type of correspondence you are most likely going to be doing.
If you think you’ll just be sending letters to friends and family members, you can opt for a more informal design. You can even include a nickname at the bottom of the card as part of your signature, or pick out a fun and unique font for the lettering.
If you think you are going to be using your stationery for business correspondence, however, it might be best to opt for something a little more formal. You can choose to have your full name or initials written at the bottom of the cards in an elegant script font, and have this printed on an off-white colored stationery.
Sending these out is an excellent way to remind clients of your business transaction, and if they receive a card, they’re more likely to keep you in mind when they need your services or products in the future.
If you happen to be environmentally conscious, sending out cards that are made out of recycled materials is an excellent way to let others know that you have an interest in preserving the environment. Cards and matching envelopes that are made out of recycled goods are just as attractive as their counterparts that are printed on new paper; in fact, they are available in a wide variety of styles and patterns.
The best thing about having personalized stationery at your disposal for a wide range of events is that you are more likely to send out cards when something happens that warrants a hand-written note. Since we live in a digital age, it’s tempting to only communicate via e-mail or telephone. However, some occasions such as weddings, anniversaries or birth announcements require a response from you that is sent via traditional mail so that the recipient will know you truly put time and effort into reaching out to them during a very special time.
