Dark chocolate is good for blood pressure? BRB, I need to go buy lots of chocolate!

Haha, just kidding. My blood pressure is actually pretty good right now. I checked it last year sometime on one of those machines you find in the pharmacy section of Walmart and other stores, and it told me I was getting into the pre-hypertension range. So I’ve been taking better care to lower my blood pressure, and last month my doctor said my pressure was just fine. So I guess I might have dodged a bullet there.

I also agree that keeping track of what you eat is very important. I keep a list on my computer of everything I eat. But since I don’t always have my computer with me, I write it down on my personalized stationery so I can type it up when I get home. Writing it all down really helps you take more notice of what you eat, and can shock you into changing your eating habits for the better.

    28. Amanda James

I honestly think that the best way to get organized is understanding and prioritizing tasks. The Family Pride Stationery set really helps me achieve this every week. My short term goals transition really smoothly to my long-term goals.

    29. Hilma Conger

I’ve also heard that taking one aspirin every day can help lower blood pressure. Of course if you can lower your blood pressure through just changing your diet that’s probably the better way to do it, but if necessary (and probably with a doctor’s advice) you can use aspirin too.

And my favorite part – you know what else is good for lowering blood pressure? Red wine! Red wine has antioxidants and stuff that helps lower blood pressure, so a glass of that every day or two is actually good for you.

And sharing the news that you’ve lowered your blood pressure is definitely something that’s worth sending a personalized card about. It’s always good to share news like that.

    30. Vanessa Curry

One of the key things I learned about lowering blood pressure is to that vitamins for heart health. Does any one have suggestions on this?

    31. Writer4life

I say that some fish oil, that is your best bet. You can also take Krill Oil or COQ10. These supplements are bit pricy but can good towards lowering health blood pressure.

    32. Chloe Sullivan

This blog should have been posted during New Year’s resolution. I am sure that some of us made that a goal to increase our longevity.

    33. Helena Johnson- Tampa Bay, Florida

I agree but at the same time it can serve us a good reminder to get back on our goals and aspirations. I tend to write my goals in an Executive Tablet Set. It makes me motivated that I am following my tasks and keeping track of achieving my goals in time.

    34. Megan Sora

The Executive Tablet continues to amaze me. Extremely high-quality paper with nice loft white space to write on. Perfect for anyone.

Dark chocolate in my studies is found to be really effective in lowering health risks through moderation intake. That is not to say to go ballistic on chocolates. But dark chocolate does do wonders.

    36. DogRescue2

It is easy to get carried away with all the vitamins and supplements that are offered in retail. The first thing you can really do is change your nutrition. Change does not come overtime.
