Gift enclosures are a great thing to have on hand any time you need to give a little gift. I personally prefer the rectangle ones that are about 3” wide. These give you a little more room to write a little message in my opinion.

Amy, I definitely agree. It’s always a good idea to keep some gift enclosures on hand, so if you need to give somebody a gift card or cash or anything like that.
I am thinking of getting some of the Roman Name gift enclosures, as they look pretty and classy, and there’s room enough to write a few sentences if I have a slightly longer message than just “happy birthday” or “congratulations” or whatever.

I know it can be hard to think of what to say inside a card beyond just “happy birthday” or “congratulations on your graduation/engagement/new house.” And if you’re like me you hate to leave all that blank space inside the card. So do what I do – write big!
Gift enclosures are really nice, especially when they’re personalized. But if you get them too small, you can’t put very much inside!

Susan, I would go with something bright and colorful. If it was a girl, I would suggest the Meadow Enclosure, since it’s got the pretty flower design. But unless the boy in question happens to like flowers, then I’d say either the Cove Enclosure or the Festive Enclosure for a young boy. Between the two I would favor the Festive design.

I find that buying cards of any kind, whether they’re gift enclosures or regular cards for birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries, or other occasions, from a grocery store just isn’t worth it. They tend to be really overpriced, and the selection usually isn’t that great either. You can usually find a couple of funny ones, but if you’re not looking for funny then the selection of cards isn’t much good at all.
For my money, the best selection of gift enclosure cards can be found online, and if you’re buying online you should get them here where the prices are great and the shipping is really fast.
