Why Monograms Are Special

A monogram is the overlapping or combining two or more letters or other motifs to form one symbol or image.
Monograms are often made by combining the initials of an individual or a company, used as recognizable symbols or images.
So why do we love monogrammed stationery so much? Monograms are so different and personal for every single person since the initial to the very left is your individual first name initial. The center, and larger, initial is customarily your last name initial and the initial to the right is your middle initial.
This makes each monogram unique and special. You can also customize your monogrammed notes by selecting the prefect font style. Choose from a personalized script font to create the perfect monogrammed note cards.
Now that you know a little more about monograms you get to decide if you want to monogram a set of notes, cards, napkins, notepads or even a holiday gift set. You can personalize your custom stationery notes or cards with the embossed or printed monogram of your choice.
Your new monogrammed stationery and gifts are great for any time of the year. Your new stationery will ship in 24 hours to your home and office. Remember to order your corporate office gifts too!

The monogram, created by the 2 or 3 letters, must go back hundreds of years, right ? Does anyone know the time or place of this origin ?

Monogrammed stationery looks nice as a foldover note, but I do not care for the look of monograms on the thick cards, like the kind they sell here. Monograms should be on notes or personalized gift enclosures for gift packaging.

I agree about the monograms on the thick cards — stay with your name on those flat cards. For instance, I always buy Banner Cards or Colonial Cards from Giftsin24.

Some people may argue whether the LV is now the most famous monogram of all time or the most copied. Whether you take on the argument or not you’ll come to the revelation that the monogrammed canvass by which it is known and continues to build its presence is probably the most famous example of a modern monogram and how it generates a universal impression. Our Cards and Notes can broadcast the same energy, charisma and esteem and if you choose the right monogram in the form of Classic, Elsie, Bordered and Monogram Cards to Traditional Monogram Notes, Classic Frame or California Classic Frame Monogram Notes. LucyInSky, there was a blog about a week ago which described the history of monograms. It was a pretty interesting read, I must say. It might surprise you to learn just how long ago monograms were invented.
My own preference is for the more straightforward monogram designs, with the less fancy script and so on. But that’s mostly when it comes to monogrammed stationery. For monogrammed napkins, I might like a slightly more elaborate design like the Elise Monogram Foil Stamped Napkins.

I have ordered several of the different styles of monograms offered at Giftsin24.com. I have tried the Classic, Paris and Sydney styles. However my favorite always comes back to the Classic. I just recently ordered some of the Monogram napkins and guest towels for my birthday party coming up in a few weeks. I can’t wait to be able to use them.

Since there aren’t any personalized napkins especially for St. Patrick’s Day, I would use a style of monogrammed napkins like the Serenity napkins or the Elise napkins. I would get the napkins in green and the monogram in gold. If I’m going to have any friends over to celebrate St. Patty’s day, I don’t need them splashing their drinks all over the place with nothing to sit them on or clean up the spill with.
But for personalized stationery, the Firenze is still my favorite monogrammed design, no contest.
