The Gift Enclosure Cards Were a Hit!
What a nice Holiday I had! I really enjoyed that Christmas fell on the weekend this year. I was fortunate enough to be able to spend the holidays with my family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The weather was beautiful and warm; we didn’t get any snow, so that made traveling quick and easy.
Christmas Eve morning was spent with my Dad, step-mom and youngest brother. We had brunch at their house and played a few holiday games. In the evening we traveled to my husband’s cousin’s house for Christmas carols and a nice dinner. Late Christmas Eve night we arrived home to enjoy some time alone and with our dogs.
Christmas day we got up early and went over to my in-laws house. My mother in law made a delicious new pecan French toast recipe. We opened our traditional party poppers and exchanged a few gifts. After cleaning up my husband and I headed over to my mom’s house were we saw my brothers and my cousins. We had a nice traditional Christmas ham dinner. The men moved to the couch to watch the Chicago Bears Play football and the women played a trivia game.

Gift enclosures are a great thing to have on hand. You never know when you may need to use them to attach to a gift or give a little cash reward inside. I read on a previous post here the idea of punching a hole in the envelopes then attaching it with a ribbon to the package or gift bag. This works great in my opinion. Great advice!!!

Also, who doesn’t love getting personalized stationery and notes as gifts? They made such great gifts that I will probably do it again next year.

Personalized gift enclosures are very useful, and always get a good reception from people. I know I always like getting one. They’re especially nice when you’re giving somebody a gift card, cash, or a personal check since those aren’t particularly personal gifts. Giving them with a gift enclosure adds a little personal touch that might otherwise be missing.
