Personalized stationery itself is a suitable subject for the many designs one can accomplish with paper. Aside from the paper airplanes discussed above, just think about the special folding that is required to make an envelope … and at the same time the paper is being folded, the two side-flaps must be glued together, and the flap that seals the envelope must get the “seal gum” placed on it, and this gum must dry before the envelope can be completed — otherwise all the envelopes would stick together in the box. In the process of making personalized stationery, envelopes are made at a rate of many thousand-per-hour. I only know this because I have had the opportunity to visit the Embossed Graphics plant, where the personalized cards and personalized notes are made for Giftsin24 — it’s quite a process — it would make an interesting 15 minute section of one of the “how do they make it?” shows on cable television.
