Personalized Stationary and Other Custom Gifts
The best gift giving advice that a person can follow is to use what you know about the person to select a gift especially for them. The higher the level of customization that comes with a gift, the better received it will be. This is why so many people purchase personalized stationary as a gift, it allows for a high level of personalization and it also has many practical uses.
Do you have a daughter that is headed away to college this fall for their freshman year? Why not send them off with some monogrammed stationery as a gift? Not only will this encourage them to keep in touch with their friends and family back home, but it will also teach them about proper etiquette when it comes to sending a letter. So many college aged students have become reliant upon texting and emailing that they have no idea how to even compose a letter. And make sure that you tell them that lol and ttyl are not acceptable in a letter!
And if you have a friend or family member that lives out of town, why not have some personalized note cards created and shipped directly to her as a gift? This way you can encourage her to drop you a line whenever she has the time and to keep in touch with other friends and family members that she moved away from.
Do you work in an office and often find yourself sticking post-it notes on your co-workers desks? If this is the case then it may be time for you to gift yourself with some note cards so that you can leave your co-workers a real note instead of a reminder scrawled on a hot pink post-it.
There are other types of custom printed gifts that serve as great gift ideas. If you are hosting a party for a friend or family member, you can also purchase personalized napkins as part of their gift. These napkins are a great way to draw attention to the guest of honor at any party and they also serve as a great conversation piece. They will be appreciated and guests will definitely make a point of mentioning how they appreciated them. In fact, some guests will shy away from using the napkins to wipe their hands and instead they will elect to take them home and keep them as a memento of the occasion.

I think Barret should write a blog about the new Color Mist napkins and explain some of the details about this new process. I’m happy for Giftsin24 that they are the first people to offer these napkins, but would like to know more facts about how the embossing is done and how the final product looks — maybe a close-up of how a Color Mist monogram looks…
