I have always been a fan of marine life. Since I was in middle school, I have wanted to become a marine biologist. Catching any nature show regarding sea life was a passion of mine. I could only imagine what it would be like to swim in the blue waters of tropical locations and observing nature at its brightest colors.
Another passion of mine is music. Especially classic and acoustic sounds. My father is now a retired band director, but loved to show his boys how to appreciate the intricacies of each piece of music. From large complex symphonies to the mystical and personal solos and duets. You can almost think of each song as a dance of notes, complimenting and lifting each other to achieve a harmony that pleases the mind.
Now, with the blue colors of the sea and gorgeous marine life, to the beautiful music of the Tex-mex band Chingón performing the well known spanish song Malaguena Salerosa, you can see a wonderful video filmed and edited by Joe Romeiro.
If you can, wait till it gets to about 3 minutes into the video, you can see how scuba diver Cristina Zenato (expert shark handler) can get very comfortable with these shark.
Absolutely riveting !!!!

Marine Biology is a fascinating subject itself. The marine life under water really shows the enigmas that life has for us and the true beauty of nature that is only seen through expedition. I really want to go scuba diving when I go to Hawaii. It would be a cool adventure to say the least.

Speaking of acoustics, I think they have a new band playing every week in Millennium Park. It is a festive environment at least in the summer without the snow. It also encourages your artists to showcase their talent.

Wow the video was wicked! it takes guts to approach this predator! Especially after their is so many negative stigma about what happens to people with these type of animals.

Marine Biology elicits an endless combination of materials and subjects you can write much about but it will probably help to take good notes. Have one of our 86 Best Selling Personalized Notepads handy to jot down why the water appears an azure, topaz, marine or turquoise blue. Water appears blue because of a “blue chemical” but the waters surface is smooth and reflective. Water actually ” absorbs the red end of the spectrum.” Water actually “absorbs the red end of the spectrum.” Water “transmits” green light better than red. This is helpful to know if you are going to take up any study of the sea and is probably already known by those of you who have a marine back ground. Now those of you aren’t should still have your Family and Friends Tablets, Lists and Arch Lists Handy. Water transmits blur light better than green. Another reason is it mostly reflects the light of the sun. The same reason why the distant ocean can appear red at the end of the day during sunset. Another interesting fact to know is during rough seas, the sky’s light isn’t available so the water doesn’t reflect it. Water as crashing waves or turbulent seas appears as its actual colors. It is indeed something that a marine biologist will uncover during their vast study of of water, algae and coral formations.

The fact that she had the amazing courage to pull this off was astonishing! A shark is an animal that has the potential to scare any human being. It really makes me try new things that I always wanted to do but lacked the courage such as sky diving or bungee jumping.

I recently discovered that I have a secret talent and a hobby in writing. I had a diary before but it was not convenient for me. In order to forget about the topics that I wanted to write about, I would write them in short personalized notes and keep them in my pockets. It helped me so much because I would be able to know my subject criteria and the sensory images that I noticed by observing the environment around me.

I was losing interest in blogs about personalized thank you cards … thanks for the new “change of pace” video — I wish I could hypnotize a shark ! I was surprised to see that the diver is a lady.
23 January 2012, 3:05 pmveraldine
Yes, agreed, this video is refreshing and reminds one that there are other worlds out there that we have not experienced. I, also, was surprised that the diver was a lady — she must be experienced at diving and at dealing with schools of sharks.
23 January 2012, 3:10 pmLatrelle16
I like Ruth’s comment — writing to friends, family, and acquaintances should be a hobby that brings out that secret talent inside of us. In addition to a hobby and a secret talent, writing notes such as personalized thank you notes, should be a display of personal style. That’s where the beauty of personalizing adds that special touch of artistry that is the icing on the cake.

Give us more “video blogs” like this one …

Yes, indeed. I like variety.

Giftsin24 is a great site, and the new shark blog is an example of how a site should try to be different and entertain its visitors…
23 January 2012, 3:58 pmEZLiving
Yes, this site is more fun every month.
23 January 2012, 4:03 pmWilson11
I love the video — not just the camera work — It’s a very romantic piece of music, too.
23 January 2012, 4:06 pmLucyInSky
I’ve told two of my friends to come to the site and see this video.

How can a shark stand on its nose ?
23 January 2012, 4:28 pmPuja Patel
It seems like you guys are doing some cool viral marketing. I posted this on my fb and got so many “likes.”
23 January 2012, 6:26 pmFarheen Anwar
It would be so cool if you can take a post card with a personalized note card for your colleagues.
24 January 2012, 12:23 amdeedee
I don’t understand Farheen’s remark.
24 January 2012, 10:36 amKim Poole – Marshfield, MA
This video is just amazing. I have never seen anything like this at all. I am not sure on the tie in to personalized stationery. But sometimes you need a refreshing topic to change pace. I am very happy that you shared this video with all of us.
24 January 2012, 11:17 amLeslie,St. Louis,MO
The video is the BEST. Better than a special on National Geographic channel.
24 January 2012, 11:41 amTigerpaw
Really, there was a special on that channel last night and it was about sharks and it was excellent, but it did not have the beautiful music that the video has.
24 January 2012, 11:44 amValerie1979
I saw that special and it was good — the sharks did not seem ferocious in that piece, either. Maybe they get a bad rap without good reason.
24 January 2012, 12:08 pmTherese 2010
Kim, the blog video has no tie-in with personalized stationery, but I like variety, so give us more more video’s.

The bounties that the Earth hols are truly enigmatic! I mean who would have ever thought that humans would reach this endeavors?

I am photographer for a company and I loved these pics! I would love to submit some of these marine biology pictures to my boss for a cover magazine.

This was a cool blog I must say. Usually, I come here to read something sentimental but this post really showed me something cool and outside the box! Thanks for this blog!
24 January 2012, 7:33 pmLisa Garafolio
This video just made me smile and admire. As they always say, smile, its a beautiful thing to do.
24 January 2012, 8:15 pmJeff Harvey
I don’t really get what the purpose of this blog is, since it doesn’t really have anything to do with personalized stationery or anything else that GiftsIn24.com sells that I know of, but what the heck, it was kinda fun anyway.
24 January 2012, 11:35 pmBritney Garfin
Wow, thanks for the info Suzie. So many Iphone users can really try to purchase this product. I was also wondering if there are any applications in the market regarding going “green.” How cool would it be to scan an item and it will show you whether the item is recyclable?
24 January 2012, 11:56 pmKate Mitchell – Santa Monica, CA
My friend sent me the link to your blog to view this video. I was blown away by how the sharks seemed so friendly to the diver. It definitely gives you a different view of sharks after watching this video. When my friend told me she saw this on a personalized stationery website I was a little confused. But after viewing the video and reading the comments I agree that sometimes you need to change topics for fun and entertainment purposes.
25 January 2012, 11:12 amNaseeba
This video reminds me of Aquaman from Smallville. I just wished I can truly experience this cool adventure.
26 January 2012, 12:33 amKhush
I love how he is so confident and still in the video! That takes some valiant effort!
26 January 2012, 12:48 amCheryl99
… don’t say HE is so confident. The diver is a lady !
