Dog walking 101. and you thought there was nothing to it!

Yes, lot of us have dogs and having a dog means getting out there and taking your little four legged friend for a walk from time to time, if not daily. Make sure you know the proper etiquette so your neighbors are thanking you for being a good dog owner.

When walking your dog keep these pointers in mind:

1. Clean up after your dog. Always bring a baggie with you for dog cleanup. you can simply use an old jewel, Wal-Mart, target or any plastic grocery shopping bag, and it’s a great way to recycle

2. Walk on the sidewalks. Always be thoughtful of your dogs, you’re and the people around you’s safety

3. Look both ways before crossing streets

Tell A Story Day April 27th

Not a creature was rustling all through the house. The shades were all drawn shielding what was going on from the light of day. Does this story begin once upon a time, does this beginning sound like the one you’ve expected to see or tell? Is this something you recognize on your child’s Let’s Write or Classroom Tablet Notepads? Is it either something you might have begun for them or their creativity brought forth on its own. Considering April 27 is “Tell A Story Day” do you have one ready to tell?
