5 Ways to Use Your Personalized Cards
Having your own personalized cards on hand can be a tremendous time and money saver. You’ll find that these cards will come in handy over and over again. The following article highlights five ways in which you can use your cards.
1. They are excellent all purpose cards. If you are sincerely thinking about someone and want to send them a quick note telling them so, personalized cards add an individual element that an email or text message can not. In this day and age getting a handwritten note simply saying hello and offering a warm greeting can make a much greater impact than an email.
2. They are perfect when you are in a last minute pinch. Are you on your way out to a birthday party or other special occasion? Forget to pick up a card? If you are already running late you can’t afford to stop and pick up a card on your way out. But you can write out a heartfelt congratulatory note and slip your check into any personalized cards that you already have on hand.
Not only will this save you the time, but it will also save you the money that you would be overspending on drug store cards. These cards are always overpriced and the selection can be very poor. You’ll get your message across much more sincerely by taking the time to write a nice little not in a personalized card.
3. They are great to have on hand to use as thank you’s. Whether you need to mail out a formal thank you letter or drop a thank you card off on a co-workers desk, these multipurpose cards are always welcomed by the recipients. Taking the time to write out a simple little note of thanks clearly expresses your sincere gratitude.
4. They can serve as invitations. Planning a little dinner party or a back yard bbq? Send out a few personalized cards to anyone that you’d like to stop by and join you. They serve as great informal invitations to friends and family when you want them to come over if they are available to. Just jot down a simple not inviting them over and give the time and the date.
5. Send a note to the teacher, principal, or another parent on one of these cards. You’ll look like a mom on top of her game by using a personalized card for correspondence.

If you want to say thank you, send a card. It’s the correct and courteous gesture. Buy some FOREVER stamps so you don’t get tripped-up by postage changes at the USPS.

I love FOREVER stamps. They have taken the question-mark out of the “postage issue” when I want to mail my notes.

Many of us forget point #5 above — one important way to send notes to teacher at school is to have the child bring the note to school and hand it to the teacher — it’s old-fashioned and it’s a nice personal way to communicate.

Personalized cards are a money saver because we save it all back when we don’t have to buy greeting cards at the last minute and pay $3 or $4 a piece.
