I was somewhat the same way in college. I think I went to one party in four years, but other than that I rarely left my residence hall. I had friends I socialized with, but no time for girlfriends or partying. I wasn’t as work-focused as that, but I did well enough for the most part.

You don’t need to binge drink or constantly go to parties to enjoy college, or to learn and grow as a person. There’s nothing wrong with doing that as long as it’s not to excess, but it’s not for everyone. It wasn’t for me.

For awhile in college I considered a minor in journalism. I ended up missing it by just one class, but I became convinced that it wasn’t for me. Still, I enjoyed writing, and that’s perhaps my favorite thing about coming to this personalized stationery blog – I love to just write my thoughts and reactions to all the great products featured here.
