Personalized Thank You Notes
You’ve sent out the personalized invitations. You’ve prepared all the food. You’ve had napkins personalized. All the guests came over and had a great time. It was a great party. Now comes the post party clean up, you are feeling pretty good about how it went and now that it is done you have one more thing to do. You have to send out thank you notes.
Sending thank you notes is the last stage of the party and should be just as fun. It is not a chore and won’t take as long as you might think. It takes less time to write a thank you note than for you to actually read this whole blog. If you don’t know how it’s easy you just got to remember six things.
First things first, greet the person you are thanking. This is the easy part. Open it up any way you like with a Dear Bob or Hi Sally. You get the idea.
Second, thank the person. What ever it was, whether it was just them coming to the party or them giving you a gift, it won’t be any trouble and you will find it fun.
Third, say something nice about the thing that you got from them. If it’s intangible, like you borrowing their car, say something to the effect of how nice the car drives.
Fourth, mention that you were glad to see them at the party. Let them know how you felt seeing them. And mention something like the fact that you’d like to see the again soon.
Fifth, thank them again. It’s nice to emphasize how grateful you are.
Sixth, send them your regards: Love, Yours truly. Don’t forget to sign your name.
There is one more thing I almost forgot to mention. Do not send your thank you by email. In this day of electronics, people don’t think of the weight a handwritten note carries. By sending a handwritten thank you note, you are sending a message that the person is important in your life and that the thank you is sincere. Also when you are sending a thank you card make sure you use a personalized card of some sort. Getting a set of thank you note for a particular event can be part of the fun. It’s easy to go to a site online and choose a thank you card to personalize for a party or just to have some stationery for that quick thank you. Giftsin24.com is one such site. They have a plethora of choices for any party.
If you follow these simple and easy steps, writing your next thank you note won’t be a chore. It will be fun and the time you spend writing the thank you notes will be fulfilling.

This is one of the two or three best blogs ever written at Giftsin24. Even though writing a thank-you note might seem obvious … I like the way that Barret breaks it down into steps that we can check off, mentally at least, and be sure that we are doing it right.
