Personalized Stationery For Beautiful Invitations

If you are planning a big event, your preparations are not quite complete until you have chosen the appropriate kind of personalized stationery to use for your invitations.  Your invitations are actually quite important; never assume that you can just use any old stationery when it comes to putting together a party that is sure to be a memorable event.  Therefore, you need to spend an ample amount of time looking through some different stationery options before you decide which ones you would like to pair with your festivities.

If you happen to run into some trouble when it comes to choosing your invitations, then you should just look to some articles posted on the Internet for advice. Go through these articles whenever you have some spare time to think about all the stationery options that are currently on the market.  Because stationery has evolved and changed over the years, if you haven’t bought any in a while, it’s definitely a good idea to do this type of research.

You also might want to look into some personalized stationery online while you are already surfing the Internet reading through these articles.  You will find a much better selection of articles on the Internet than you would ever find if you were to just go through your local stationery outlet.  For example, if you are planning a theme party, you might be able to find some stationery on the Internet that matches that particular theme.

Furthermore, you could use some personalized stationery to let people know about a party that you’re throwing that happens to have a formal theme.  This is a good idea because you will definitely want people to know that they need to dress up for the event so that they don’t accidentally feel out of place.  Pick out some invitations that look formal; try to use a white or cream-colored paper with a very elegant cursive font on it.

You should always try to send out invitations in the mail rather than via e-mail because there is a better chance that people will save the date on their calendars.  People are inundated with e-mail messages every single day; they might not end up even noticing your message before it’s too late.  Even worse, your message might wind up in their folder that is designated for junk mail, and they might end up discarding it without ever noticing that it’s there.

I agree that invitations should be sent by USPS. Although I’ve seen articles to the contrary, it is odd to send wedding invitations by email, and the warmth of the “live” invitation is lost. Getting invitees to respond to the “respond card” portion of the invitation is difficult these days whether one uses email or physical mail …

This is a small correction, but I think Pen Lady meant “response card” not “respond card” in the comment above.
