Suggestion: If you buy a gift of personalized stationery, and you are able to wrap the gift and give it in person, you might want to include some “Forever” stamps from the Post Office. These stamps make letter-writing so convenient because they will always be honored by the Post Office, regardless of rate-changes that occur in the future.

One thing about personalized gifts — the recipient knows that you remembered the occasion, and ordered the gift ahead of time. I order my personalized gifts several weeks, or even a couple of months in advance so that I am ready to give the gift on time.

I give personalized gift-enclosures as gifts. They are small and unique. Also, they can be used regularly throughout the year — whenever one gives a gift that needs a short note attached. They are really more of a packaging gift than a stationery gift. The gift enclosures here at Gifts in 24 are especially nice, especially the ones with the embossed borders. The tiny little envelopes are wonderful.

I save money at Giftsin24 by ordering 3-4 gifts at one time. To my address, the freight charges are about $6 for one order, but for 3 or 4 orders the freight only goes up to about $6.75 (numbers are a little rounded-off, I’m doing this from memory) So it pays to order more than one item…

The most important part of sending “thank-you” notes in U.S. Mail is what JLB says above — get the “Forever” stamps — these will be valid stamps FOREVER. So you won’t get ready to mail your note and find out that you are 2 cents short on your postage…
