Everything is coming up roses or is it not. Happy Chinese New Year to you or should i be saying Happy New year. The sky is blue, the sun is out, are happy days here again? It is hard to say, very , very hard to say. The Chinese President Hu Jintao was in Chicago yesterday promoting relationships between what is now "the second largest economy in the world' and companies headquarted in Chicago. It looked like a hell of a party from the distant television footage. The Hilton still held it's same inviting aura but I surely was not lucky enough to get an invitation. I mean, who am I? I'm not a politician so I understand. It continued to look nice. Getting back to invitations and realizing this is the beginning of the celebration for Chinese New Year. I haven't sent any out or received any. Such a show of camaraderie would give me in the impression I'm in the loop but I'm not. I've recently received a variety or emails regarding work opportunities in insurance but nothing to throw rice in the air over, kick off my socks, as I nonchalantly sip my chilled chilled glass of Domain Chandon Champagne. What is the world coming to? I have no great Chinese New Year celebration to organize. Let's see.. I'm contemplating a few invitations: Bel Amour, Tolon, Carballo, Versailles or Bordeaux. Invitations for any ethereal wedding, mine?

Versailles is an elegant, picturesque suburb outside of Paris. This invitation pays homage to its namesake and its style. The invitation is "layered in perfection." It's delicate original embossings are enchanting as it brings to mind some regal rendezvous reminiscent of Louis XIV and his court. The paper is a "creamy ivory " laid to rest on a delicate bedding of " pink mocha ink." Select foreground paper in Ivory or white. Uniquely personalize it with one of fifteen colored inks. Surround your wedding in the whimsical, regal one of a kind world that is Versailles.

"Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue, And the dreams that you dare to dream Really do come true."
