2010-02-26 12:51:34  By Charlotte Here's a suggestion I bought a set of these envelopes and I keep them with my gift-wrap materials -- with the wrapping paper, bows, scotch tape, etc. When I give a small item, especially to a child, I put it in one of these envelopes and "sneak" it to them as a surprise gifts. Also -- a silver dollar fits exactly into one of these envelopes -- I gave several silver dollar gifts last year in these envelopes -- it's a gift that makes a nice "plunk" when it lands in the hand, and silver dollars only cost about $16 to $18. When I was a child, they were available from banks as currency, and I would go to the bank with my friends and buy them for a one-dollar bill -- I cannot remember what we did with them after we bought them ... it must have been a "kid" thing ...
